The project brief was to design a kitchen and laundry space in one, with maximisation of storage and maintaining the current services positions. The client owns a stainless manufacturing company and wanted to integrate stainless steel elements into the design. The design was to have an industrial feel with exposed features such as suspended pot racks, wall mounted utensil rails, magnetic knife strips and exposed bracketing to the oak shelves. The clients have a passion for cooking and entertaining so making the mobile butchers block the centrepiece of the design was key in creating the atmosphere our client wanted. The Creative Group were also engaged to select the flooring, window furnishings, bay window upholstery and styling items, bring together this cohesive design.
