With a small internal footprint seating less than fourty people, every square inch of this interior needed to be economised and functional whilst delivering an aesthetic appeal . The space was required to be conceptually accessible and authentic, with the challenge of introducing some pre-history character to the new concrete and glass first floor tenancy within The Terrace Development.

Booth seating with a rich tan upholstery makes use of the buildings angled spaces and a raised area to the river-side of the interior provides elevated views over the front-deck down to Oxford Terrace and the Avon river. The hero of the space is the bar with its twenty-four taps and stunning aspect that draws customers into the space and toward the vista of the Avon river. Raw and industrial, the taps showcase the thirty independent craft beers on offer, glass-doors to the back-bar keg-cooler integrated into the bar display joinery all play a part in the honest approach to this interior.

A new Steel and glass structure over the rear-deck housing oversised pendant lights, solid-timber furniture, fixed-seating, colourful scatter cushions, timber batten walls and live greenery blur the lines between interior and exterior. With heaters providing warmth on a cool day, speakers for background music and its own tile-lined bathroom facilities, this enclosure extends the tenancies usable footprint and provides a versatile function space.
